Erica Award
Have you made a difference to other people's lives? Or do you know a person with learning disabilities or autism who has?
We have launched an exciting new award - the Erica Award. The award is aimed at people who have a learning disability or autism. It is named after Erica Morton who always stood up for the people we support and sadly died last year. Erica was an influential member of the board and a friend and colleague to many in the organisation.
So the search is on for people with a learning disability or autism who have improved the lives of others with learning disabilities or autism.
We will shortlist five winner who will be awarded a trophy and a small prize . The main winner will get up to £3,000 to spend on a learning experience or personal development. The award will be presented at Learning Disability Today in December. The closing date for entries is 15th October 2010.
