Local high school donates PPE to Dimensions Cymru colleagues

The recent times have given us social distancing but also brought us all together.

Cardiff school, The Bishop of Llandaff High School, is using its technology department to produce face visors for key workers. They have generously donated 200 to Dimensions Cymru. This is a wonderful gesture and much appreciated to protect the people Dimensions supports and colleagues.

The Bishop of Llandaff has joined schools across the country to support the NHS, donating all their science equipment such as goggles and gloves. Through a local fundraising page they have raised £6000 to produce PPE for the health and social sector. Through the wonderful generosity of the community, The Bishop of Landaff anticipates making approximately 1000 pieces of equipment each week.

Chris Brown, Business Manager at the school said

“We’re glad we were able to use our facilities to help in the current circumstances. We are grateful for all the work you and your staff are continuing to do.” Chris continued.

Dimensions Cymru is very grateful for the high school’s  donation. A huge thank you from us to The Bishop of Llandaff school. There is no better way to celebrate how communities are coming together, to support each other in these strange times. The support we have been receiving across the country has been amazing.
