We are thrilled to tell you that the Dimensions group has achieved extra special recognition as being a UK’s Best Workplace by the Great Place to Work Institute for an incredible fifth year in a row.
In terms of our ranking in the UK Best Workplaces Super Large category, we are now a middle-ranked organisation whereas previously we were ranked in the lower half. Most importantly, to be successful involves reaching a threshold based on colleague feedback.
We acted on previous survey feedback and as a result made changes, including making a number of commitments to support colleagues in achieving a good work/life balance.
Executive Director Stella Cheetham said:
Over the past five years we’ve introduced new support for colleagues and updated much of what we previously had. For example:
We offer a wealth of wellbeing support, from Mental Health First Aiders to Menopause Champions, our 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme to the Mindful Employer Charter, we’re making colleagues count every day.
Learning and development for our colleagues is important: colleagues can achieve qualifications to support their current role with our brand new Dimensions Academy or, by getting a place on our award-winning Aspire programme, develop their talents and career further. We also offer Learning Connect where colleagues find an interactive online learning platform, and brush up on digital skills along the way, too.
Above all, we value the hard work our colleagues do, that’s why we have Inspiring People nominations and winners each year. We have the National Operations Colleague and Business Support Colleague forums where colleagues can raise issues.
These are just some of the things we do, along with much more, which sets us up to be an award-winning workplace year on year.
