Dimensions Cymru colleagues win gold at Welsh Care Awards

Our Dimensions Cymru colleagues Lisa Morgan and Rachel Folland both walked away from this year’s Welsh Care Awards with gold awards in their respective categories.

Behaviour Support Manager Lisa was celebrated in the Leading Practice in Learning Disability & Mental Health Services category.

And Rachel, Locality Manager, was announced the winner in the Excellence in Palliative & End of Life Care category.

Russ Kennedy, Regional Managing Director, said:

“Lisa has put her heart and soul into her vocation – working tirelessly, with skill, dedication and determination to make lives better for the people that we support.

“She is an inspiration and role model who is rightly respected and trusted by her peers, our support workers and most importantly by the people we support and their families.

“While I know that making a difference to these people is thanks enough for Lisa, I am gratified and proud to see that her years of outstanding service (so far!) has been recognised and celebrated with this prestigious award.

“Rachel started as a Support Worker. She quickly demonstrated her dedication to the people we support and their families and established herself as a valued member of the support team. She has quickly grown in her calling and proven herself to be a credible and talented manager who has led her team with skill and compassion to support people to be well, healthy and happy.

“I and the team are so proud of what she has already achieved and chuffed to bits that her talent and hard work has been recognised with this fabulous award.”
