Using your influence for good

Kevin has been tirelessly supporting and campaigning for people with autism since he was diagnosed in 2001.

Campaigning and fundraising

He has been a volunteer director of the National Autism Society, and most recently launched a nationwide anti-bullying billboard campaign with the backing of Lord Sugar.

From speaking in schools, colleges and universities, to appearing on TV and radio, and now as a volunteer TV presenter for NTV Europe, Kevin has campaigned immensely on various issues for the last 18 years.

With a social media following of 150,000 (follow him on twitter), and an aggregate fundraising/grants total of circa £900,000, he is one of the most influential autism advocates in the country.

Kevin recently released a film based on himself and his twin growing up in the 80’s which he hopes will help thousands of people.

Support for others

Kevin has set up two Autism charities and a radio station to support people with autism in Staffordshire.

He regularly helps parents and carers and anyone with questions or concerns around autism and has helped hundreds of people get referrals for diagnosis. He has also helped his local MP set up pre-diagnostic services for children.

Kevin frequently leads autism conferences and awards ceremonies, helping people of all ages and with all conditions get back their confidence and self-esteem.

Recognition

Kevin has won various awards locally and nationally, most recently including the British Citizen award in Jan 2017. Kevin has won film awards globally raising awareness of autism. We’re very pleased that Kevin was selected by the judges for a place on the 2018 Dimensions Learning Disability and Autism Leaders List.
