Achieving digital inclusion – including £20k of free data!

Throughout the pandemic we’ve supplied hundreds of free tablets and laptops to the people we support. These alongside other assistive technology have enabled the people we support and their families to stay connected digitally, and to get more out of life.

Check out this short, accessible animation below to find out more about how we’re achieving digital inclusion:

We also supported the Good Things Foundation to shape the government’s Digital Lifeline Fund.

Now, as part of our ongoing work with the Good Things Foundation, we have been successful in our recent application and have received a further 460 SIM cards with free data for the people we support – that’s worth roughly £20,000! Over the coming weeks we will be distributing these to the people we support who received free tablets and free data earlier this year.

We are continuing to make applications for further tablets and other devices, to ensure the people we support experience digital inclusion.
