Letters to Bridget

Since October 2018, Bridget has been volunteering with Dimensions as a pen pal to a gentleman we support in our South region.

Bridget originally became interested in a volunteering role with Dimensions after seeing the opportunity to become a volunteer buddy, but unfortunately the location was a little too far away for her.

Still keen to volunteer, Bridget got in touch with our volunteering team who talked her through other role opportunities and found out a little more about her interests and what she wanted to get out of volunteering with Dimensions. After talking together, Bridget decided to apply as a volunteer pen pal and was overjoyed when she was selected for the role!

Bridget now writes regularly to her pen pal and enjoys sending cards, as well as her own drawings too.
