Wales / Cymru
Dimensions Cymru is Wales based charity, part of Dimensions Group.
Dimensions Cymru has an excellent reputation for innovative, research-based support services and is developing particular expertise in supporting people out of Assessment and Treatment Units and other institutions. As a region, we pride ourselves in working in partnership with families and others to enable the people we support to transition into or maintain supported living and enjoy greater independence.
Much of our support makes use of positive behaviour support (PBS) which helps us support people with complex health and communication needs, and behaviours of distress.
We use staff matching tools to identify characteristics of the ideal Support Worker and create bespoke job adverts with the person we support and their families. They are then involved in the shortlisting and interviewing of each person and decide who they would like to work with.
